Independent Trusteeship

We provide a full Independent Trustee service for small self-administered pension schemes. Given the complexity of pension rules, it is highly desirable that an Independent Trustee should serve alongside member and other trustees, to assist in the proper operation of the scheme.

We do not provide a remote and inflexible trustee. Our service and that of our trustee company operates, where possible, to anticipate clients’ requirements, to ensure that clients’ wishes are carried out - but in a manner which minimises the chances of incurring either HMRC or other penalties. Decisions are made on a very pragmatic and workable basis and our long experience can assist in facilitating optimum results for our clientele.

We offer our specialist pensions trust company NSS Trustees Limited, to assist clients in this capacity and hold trustee meetings as and when needed -preferably annually.

Where we act as Independent Trustee we are signatories over the trust assets alongside member trustees.
