Our experience is wide ranging and in addition to the traditional actuarial service to pension schemes we have helped to resolve extremely difficult issues including:-
- helping employers understand and then limit their liabilities from expensive pensions schemes that were never properly explained;
- assisting trustees in negotiations with employers, who aim to limit pension commitments;
- evaluation of pension liabilities on takeovers and mergers and subsequent pension scheme design;
- assessment of interests under Wills and other settled property
- assessment of capital projects and other liabilities and damages
- a full actuarial service to divorcing couples and to their advisors
- asset allocation, investment manager selection and general trustees training.
For over thirty years we have provided independent trustee services to large and small pensions schemes. Our unique experience, enhanced by our actuarial and consultancy knowledge, delivers an incisive, practical, efficient and economic service, reinforced by an ability to make well informed decisions.
We provide our services through two trustee companies, the directors of whom are the Senior Management of Nigel Sloam & Co.
