Amit graduated from City University with a degree in Actuarial Science and is a Fellow of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries.
He joined Nigel Sloam & Co in 1994, having previously worked for Sedgwick Consulting (now part of Mercer). He was made a Partner in 1996.
Amit is highly experienced in providing actuarial and consultancy advice covering all aspects of corporate and individual pension arrangements. His particular specialty is to provide cost effective and practical solutions to problems experienced by small to medium sized employers in managing pension liabilities for their staff. He also advises professionals and directors of owner managed business in structuring their own pension planning.
Amit is a senior director of NSS Independent Trustees Ltd, and coordinates our independent trustee services to a number of defined benefit pension plans. This ensures he fully understands the trustees perspective!
